Monee Fire Protection District

Through professionalism, dedication, integrity and training the Monee Fire Protection District works to safeguard the lives and property of the people of the Village of Monee and the Monee Fire Protection District. This is accomplished by providing a vast range of emergency services and a strong fire prevention program. 

The Monee Fire Prevention District is a combination type department. This means that the Monee Fire Prevention District has paid personnel that staff two stations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and trained volunteer personnel that provide the additional resources needed at more significant incidents. 

The Monee Fire Protection District covers approximately 36 square miles, which includes the Village of Monee. The Monee Fire Protection District is a taxing governmental agency separate from the Village of Monee. 

The Monee Fire Protection District operates two fire stations and currently has 3 paramedic ambulances, 3 front line fire engines, 1 front line 3000 gallon tender/pumper, 1 brush truck and 1 command vehicle.
