The Mission of the Monee Parks and Recreation Department is to strive to maximize our resources to provide the community with high quality and economic leisure opportunities; through open space preservation, park development and recreational program offerings. The goals of the Monee Parks and Recreation Department is to enact community relations through program and special events that are designed to:

Be responsive to the recreational needs of all individuals

Promote the wise use of leisure time and generally enhance a strong sense of community
