Dear Residents,
As you may be aware, the Village is about to begin a roadway improvement program that will include improvements to your street. The Village has contracted with Iroquois Paving Corporation to complete the work. The locations where the work will take place are shown on the location maps below.
- Location #1 – Crocus Avenue from Lilac Avenue to Jonquil Lane
- Location #2 – Jonquil Lane from Cul-de-sac to Daffodil Lane
- Location #3 – Azalea Avenue from Jonquil Lane to Daffodil Lane
- Location #4 – Herbert Court from Ruby Street to Cul-de-sac
- Location #5 – Von Avenue from Cul-de-sac to Egyptian Trail.
- Location #6 – Hoover Street/Court from Cul-de-sac to Roosevelt Street
- Location #7 – Sunrise Drive/Court from Cul-de-sac to Roosevelt Steet to End
- Location #8 – Chestnut Road from Mill Street to Main Street
- Location #9 – Mill Street from Egyptian Trail to Chestnut Street
- Location #10 – Park Lane (including Horseshoe) from Apple Blossom Lane to Mulberry Lane
- Location #11 – Main Street from Linden Avenue to Ruby Street
- Location #12 – Court Street between Will Center Rd and Kuersten Rd
- Location #13 – Oak Road and Main Street
- Location #14 – Bluebell Lane from Iris Lane to Tulip Avenue
- Location #15 – Iris Lane from Will Center Road to Geranium Lane
- Location #16 – Iris Court from Iris Lane to Cul-de-sac
- Location #17 – Mulberry Lane from Apple Blossom Lane to Park Lane
- Location #18 – Apple Blossom Lane from Orchard Trail to Mulberry Lane
- Location #19 – Locust Place from Mulberry Lane to Mill Street
- Location #20 – Mill Street from Oak Road to Church
- Location #21 – Briar Lane from Court Street to Wilson Street
- Location #22 – Chestnut Road from Court Street to Wilson Street
- Location #23 – Wilson Street from Governors Highway to Chestnut Road
- Location #24 – Sutton Place from Cul-de-sac to Egyptian Trail
- Location #25 – Truman Street from Court Street to Roosevelt Street
Work has recently started on the project. While this work is being performed, vehicles will not be allowed to be parked on the roadway between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm. All vehicles should be parked in driveways or outside the project limits accordingly. If work happens to be needed to be performed within a specific driveway, each resident will be contacted individually to further coordinate. “No Parking” signs will be posted by the contractor along the roadways accordingly.
The Village website (www.villageofmonee.org) will be updated as the work progresses to keep residents informed.
