Can I place a mobile storage unit (e.g. POD) on my property, what is the time limitation and do I need a permit?

Yes, mobile storage containers shall not exceed 16 feet in length and shall not be placed on a property for more than 15 consecutive days, except for projects involving the construction of a facility at which time the container may be placed at the site until the expiration of the construction permit. It may not be placed in any unimproved yards, publicly owned rights-of-way or sidewalks. No person shall place mobile storage container upon their property for more than 2 such 15-day periods per calendar year. Also, you need to go into the Village and get a permit, which is $25.
